On Wednesday, Chalutzim started out their day with a hike. The group then visited Mount Bental where they admired incredible views of the beautiful north of Israel and toured bunkers as they learned about the history of this strategic look-out point. Next Chalutzim met up with a group of 15 Tzofim (Israeli Scouts) who were going to join the group for the next few days.
Chalutzim, along with their newest group members, had lunch and then partipated in a water hike together. This was a great chance to talk and get to know the Israeli Tzofim! Mid hike, everyone had… Read more

Some of the chanichim had a chance to walk across a rope as their fellow participants held tight!
Next the group travelled to the Mitzpe Ramon Crater, located in the beautiful Negev Desert. The group was very interested to learn how this impressive crater formed. Soon after, they finally arrived in Eilat!

Etgar landed earlier today and have joined the Ma’apilim Tour.
The tour will now be known together as Chalutzim (Chalutzim means “pioneers” – and like the Israeli pioneers who came to Israel 100 years ago, Etgar and Ma’apilim are our pioneers of today)!
The group is currently on its way South. Tonight the group will get a chance to meet each other and will take part in some “Get to know you” sessions before dinner.
Tomorrow they start their day with a visit to Mitzpe Ramon and Snorkeling!

After a long, fun flight, our chanichim (participants) arrived safely in Rome and were greeted at the airport by their madrichim (counselors)! They had a special opening ceremony and group ice breakers to get to know each other and their staff. Even with a packed schedule touring Rome, the group will spend a good amount of time getting to know one another so they can build a cohesive unit.
