“Thank you for giving Ellie the opportunity to give back. She is loving the volunteer work at the therapeutic horse farm. Working with the horses and helping the disabled children has been a life changing experience for her. “Mitzvah gorret mitzvah”. The mitzvah of helping others, both animals and children, has in turn helped her. She said she cried when a little boy reached his arm out and leaned on her. The owner cried, the parents cried and the little boy was so proud. It was the first time the child had used his arm and Eliana was exploding with joy to be a part of this “first”.
As a teacher and a parent I understand the importance of being needed and how that need drives people to do more. Nothing is more important than teaching children that what they do matters, that everything they do, and say impacts others. Hearing it said doesn’t compare to the actual experience.
So thank you Young Judaea for not only the adventurous experiences, but for the “giving back experiences” you have offered my daughter.”

“I just want to thank you and your staff for doing such an incredible job with Machon! Niki had the greatest time and I have never seen her cry so much! She misses her new friends and just had the most memorable and amazing experience.
I did also want to mention her counselors. Niki said they were absolutely the best and she loved very single one of them! They must have been very special.
A sight to see was the experience yesterday at our airport in Austin. There were 8 of them from Austin and they have all been good friends, mostly since birth. They were all hysterically crying saying goodbye to each other! This was at the Austin airport! They will see each other all the time, but the bond they made, will last a lifetime. She said each one of these girls now, are her very best friends. I think it is amazing that they will have this memory to last a lifetime.
Thank you so much for enriching my daughter’s life, you cannot put a dollar value on that and we cannot thank you enough. My daughter is so proud of being Jewish, and nothing could make us more proud.
